dont you hate studying for something, working really hard for it, finally feeling like youve understood how to work out whatever the tutors can throw at you, then seeing the test script and feeling that wishful fantasy come crashing down all around you? man that sucks. my physics is in a total mess. i really really need to improve.. and fast. is tuition a good idea? where am i gonna find time to slot in tuition anyway, any recomendations?
hate the feeling of failure. even scraping passes in chinese feels like shit. trust me, its not like i want it to happen, im studying everyday already, what more do you want from me.. haii. downright depressing can.
lets see. this is gonna be a a rather short post. cos i dont really have the time or interesting things to say:
the days of the week are seriously blending together, sometimes i even forget what day it is... its like study study study, training, study study. haha. i mean, i even do the same things everyday. mornings before school spent studying with rachel and eleanor, breaks i spend studying with louis/kengchong/yingwei/wenyuan/kenny. yeah nothing new at all. haha sad right. doesnt matter. loving every moment of it! (well.. maybe not so much the tests..)
weekends. hah. best. spent the early part of yesterday at bedok training and had a rather long and lazy lunch. reached home around 5? thankfully my dad was at hand to give me a ride to NAFA for the school play, allowing me to catch 4owinks. (like i mean it, i bet i napped for a couple of minutes at most).
off to the play, met eugene and aaron outside. waited around for yingwei, johnathan, zhanpeng and their friend before heading in. haha. ended up sitting right behing eugene though. "Traveling Light" was surprisingly good though. i went in with the mentality that it'd be boring and that i was only there cos i was "encouraged" to buy the tickets by my GP tutor but it actually turned out to be rather entertaining. some love story. haha. too complicated to recount though. mm, gotta change my mindset to school productions. heh. anyway, canoeist gang (including eugene) met up during intermission to .. take photos? haha. okayy, just one or two. all of them kept up with the scandal thing. urghh. even eugene! okayy. nvm. anyway, i seriously hate cameras with flash cos i keep closing my eyes. aye. not photogenic you see.
anyway, kinda rushed off with johnathan after the play. heh. even managed to get some studying done before passing out at the table. mm. heh sorry to cheryllwin. was talking to her online and just knocked out cold. haha. too tired already. oh:

HELLO! im finally feeling wonderfully refreshed after sleeping for 11hours last night (with the msn on). sorry to those people who talked to me and didnt get a reply. haha.
well this isnt much of a post but ... too bad. nothing much new to talk about recently i guess. its just been school-study-cca. its not i cant find time to update just that i cant find some out of the ordinary to talk about. haha. some other time i suppose.
yup spent the past 2day1night at camp... in school? haha. so short can. wasnt as tough as i expected it to be. however, think im gonna die soon or something- im certain theres something wrong with my head, i get really bad headaches whenever i do chinups. they last for quite awhile too... die...
ooh. another thing. through the pain, i broke my chinup limit again today! haha. yea... 20. i know its very little by the supposed standard of a canoeist but still.. its a landmark number for me. im still glad.

back home resting/packing for a few hours before i have to head back to school again for training camp. i can hardly believe it myself but i realise that today is the first time ive seen the outside of my house under sunlight for weeks. oh yea...
ive been heading out to school before the sun rises, and somehow, whether cos of training or lessons, reaching home after the sun sets. haha. the worst thing, i just realised that my room doesnt have curtains! was supposed to put them up ages ago but i guess i didnt cos i barely ever see sunlight in my room anyway. hahaha.
schools been hectic mannn. haha. homework, tests, PW, training. all stacking up. and worse still, ive been planning to back to chs with kevin to get our Olevel certs but we havent even found the time to. urgh. im so drowning in schoolwork can. aye i was actually on par with whatever was being taught up till that weekend i spent at macritchie. darn, now i think im lagging... homework's becoming such a chore to complete.
oh. random note - im incredibly glad i decided to stick with canoeing and not to try out for council. haha. sajc student council held their auditions this week after curriculum hours. hah. embarrassing and stressful like hell. got "involved" when i stayed back to study with some of the canoeists on tuesday. this poor dude had to assemble 5 random people and lead them in the school cheer. in front of the panel. got called up with louis and chenyang. did the cheer in front of mshuang and some stony faced coucillor. haha. the tension in that room was so thick it could be cut with a butter knife. thursday, same thing happened. louis and i got called up 3 times in the space of about 15mins to help 3 different interviewees with their cheering. like wth. are we like interviewee magnets? haha. i actually walked into the same interview room in front of mstsang 2 times that day. as if that sort of cheering wasnt bad enough, we even saw one ex-ncc girl marching around the school shouting "chichiwawa chichiwawa sa sa!" hahaha. total loss of face can. im soo glad i didnt try.
anyway... great news: team bags will probably be here by monday. received a call from the shop yesterday. the lady said that we could collect on monday. hmm. i wonder if we could do the collection on sunday instead.. going down to queensway on weekdays is such a bore. so far la. i hope..
mm. should be heading off sometime soon now. dont know how its gonna be but after 4years in ncc, ive come to feel apprehensive about the words "training" and "camp" put together. camps are actually already bad enough by themselves. right.
darn it. feeling rather down. i feel that im picking up coach's paddling technique super slowly and that the others are just getting more and more pro by the training. shitt. its darn demoralising to see others knowing how to paddle and balance properly when i still have to tap ever so often. urghh.
schoolwork's not been much better. its piling up i suppose. and those tests are just looming closer and closer, so i need to do more revision. like LOTS to do, lacking time and energy to do it. just pisses me off, why am i so useless la. focus hilary- focus.
need to get my studies back into respectable shape. need to learn how to paddle and balance properly. need to get my fitness sorted out properly.
