urgh...
life is getting more hectic. studies getting tougher, homework piling up, not to mention "issues". well shant get into that, its not nice to talk about.
well, thursday was kinda unlucky for me. haha. totally forgot about that supposedly "tiny" physics quiz at the end of the day. barely did any studying for it at all. totally flunked it. heh. like 0-zero-nil-zilch. didnt know how to do the questions at all la. then after handing that blank script i was so freaking paiseh that i quickly packed up and left the school... leaving my whole book of physics notes behind. and i didnt even realise it until i reached home. to make matters worse, my attempt to get it back failed miserably too. haha. although fiona was kind (nice and innocent - ???) enough to try to help me get it from the classroom, by the time she got there after her bio test, the room was locked and the General Office people said that they couldnt help her unlock it. tsk. well well, that spelled the end of physics revision the whole weekend. thankfully, i was able to borrow a set of notes from johnathan to do my tutorial, but the dynamics chapter wasnt completed yet so i couldnt go through the examples again. aye.
had water training on friday and saturday. lots of those recently eh? anyway, i guess the main aim now is to work on my paddling strokes as well as my balance on the K-1. ummm. yeah, mrKieu was teaching us some more efficient paddling stroke on friday.... cant get it. nvm, practice practice practice. headed down to queensway with louis to meet raymond and cheehao to scout for team bag after that. nothing that fancy eh. besides, the price range of sporting brands there isnt as low as people make it out to be either. mm. still considering although we do have one in mind.
on a side note, i feel that team bonding is very important. so its a good thing that i feel so close to the canoeing guys that i treat them as brothers. oh on second thought, dont you think we even look alike:
saturday's training pretty much went the same way. though coach actually switched a couple of us back to the JKs to focus more on shoulder and waist rotation to build up technique. mmm. it was kinda like doing laps i guess. then the worst part was at the end when he made the few of us go do rundowns of 250 and 300 with the j2. urrr. got owned. haha. demoralising... like so far ahead. shoulders, back, ass all aching after that. well, it could only help us improve i suppose. coach had this small nutrient talk with us after that, about diets and all. urgh, i really really dont wanna become a vegetarian, i love eating meat far to much. haha. besides, my parents would give me hell i think. lunch was another interesting affair, ended up eating vegetarian food at the foodcourt at tampines (what a ripoff). had mac's icecream for the first time in months too. mmm.
well all in all, the canoeing people are a fun bunch:
