oh dear. will i fit in?

schools a mere few days away man.. and its not just any old school reopening, its THE school reopening. in a new school. new environment. new friends people. new everything. what the hell am i gonna do if i dont fit in? tsk tsk. i'd just shrivel up and die or something.


anyway, today was the last day of work... if you can consider what i do work. heh. more like stealing money. i must say that ive been really lucky to work at places where the people are so pleasant, if not downright likable. hougang point may not be the ideal place for a salesperson cos it has such a lazy feeling and not many people pass through (at least on saturday afternoons) but today was probably one of the less boring days.

the optical shop people were once again wonderfully friendly and warm. even that fierce looking kenneth is actually a nice guy. haha. kept talking to me and joking. i guess the only problem is that he was using chinese, and me being me, i kept saying: huh? bu4 ming2 bai2. (i dont understand). haha. darn paiseh. then michelle was kinda cuckoo. when i finally sold my first set, she drew this egg then showed a crack down its middle and said to me: see, no more ji1 dan4 (egg/zero). haha. irene was cool too, kept trying to make sales for me, and kept offering me choc chip cookies. haha. btw- yum.

lessons learnt:
1. dont eat choc chip cookies while working, the bits get stuck in between your teeth and makes you super self-conscious.
2. getting a friend to come down to talk to you helps pass time super fast. haha thanks derek! you killed close to 2hours! hope i didnt bore you to death.
3. save money during breaks. buying a carton of milk works wonders, fills you up even more than a full meal, its cheaper too. heh.
4. dont put your bag in the storeroom. errr... actually this one doesnt make sense, but its just that some lizard left me a present today. haha.
5. mmmm. ive spent like 5mins trying to think of no.5 but there doesnt seem like anything. HAH. too bad.

conclusion:
my work is boring yet fun. my pay is fabulouso. haha. sorta. my little ickle bits of useless wisdom are well and truly useless and i hope that no one ever uses them and blames me if something goes wrong. haha. in a nutshell- im full of crap. yay. tralala.


on a completely off topic... errr... topic, i would like to note that im probably the luckiest non-christmas celebrater (okay, i made up that word). while i was wasting my time stealing money from the company today, my family went for some belated/postponed christmas eve dinner (haha. like wth right?). anyway, presents!

muhaha, lets see:
1. slippers (and just when my havanas feel like their gonna give way anytime soon)
2. headphones (ive been griping about getting a set that doesnt have such long wires. yayy me!)
3. basketball top. (umm... i guess i'll use it when i run, sorta)
4. magnetic dominoes (haha. for me to gamble? i dont even know how to play. hahaha.)

not a bad haul. alrighty. i know im being nonsensical and boring and pointless and long winded and err... me. but im just truly wasting time waiting for the effing soccer match to start. hate the soccer channel. forever setting arsenal's matches as the last match. eeyer. match starts at 0115? wtf. haha. nvm. gonna try to sell books at bras basah tomorrow, the rest will just be recycled. yupp. till next time.
