hmm i realise ive been posting rather frequently recently, but i guess i really want to talk about today. then again im rather tired too and so i'll make it snappy.
its been an extremely eventful saturday, spent the entire day out. it all started off at bedok, finally back paddling in about a month, and once again balance and stroking was really off, the super choppy water conditions and strong wind didnt help much either. anywayy, it was pretty much leisure paddling and 'touring' the reservior with the guys. remember: the bridge - haha shh.
lunch with johnny and ray at tampines1. tried out a new diner and ray was so happy cos he said it was so 'posh' and the service was so good it made him feel rich. haha like he isnt already rich anyway.. killed time at the library reading stupid books afterwards waiting for biao,daryl,ben. when i say kill time i really actually mean, killing it slowly and torturously, bringing it to the brink of death then letting it recover, just to kill it slowly again. the books were so stupid, like mine was - Book of Pointless Information (oh yes, that was the actual title).
31-ed over to goldkist for the canoeing farewell dinner. lets not dwell too much on the fact that the bus driver (oh sorry - its bus CAPTAIN) gave us inaccurate information and we got off at the wrong stop and walked halfway across east coast park to get to the chalet. let us not dwell.. haha. well the gathering was really well done imo. although some may say it was plain and it was just a bbq with nothing that fancy, but i think its more of the way you go about doing it. i wanna say that i seriously appreciate the time, effort and money yall juniors spent on doing this for us. even more special kudos must go to our 'bbq chefs' who braved the rain to ensure that we had a constant supply of food. oh and the messages on the boards were really sweet and well, im gonna take my time to read, haha dont wanna rush it.
cabbed back to more familiar territory with gid and johnny, and reached home just in time for dad to bring me out so that he could have supper. LOL. well i just kinda sat there and drank. yup drinkies. tehpeng and icedcoffee. to keep me up to this unearthly hour to finish my SGC. it felt really weird writing that, just felt like i was constant praising myself. haha im not good at writing stuff about myself. its not bad enough that others judge you, now the system wants you to judge yourself? heh.
well that brings us to this point, around 3 in the morning. and im supposed to be up at 6 to go out with my mum to go walk somewhere.. i really have no idea. maybe i'll try to skip, pretend i cant wake up. hee. tmr tmr. must really study hard, do my homework too, hopefully squeeze in a run at the end of the day. rarr..
